How it started…

Meet the Bike Guy — Built from Passion, Backed by Experience

Bike Guy isn’t a trend. It’s a return to roots — where the love of two wheels, years of skill, and honest graft come together to offer something genuinely better.

It all started back in December 2019, when Paul launched Pro Detailing Services. Just six months later, the world went into lockdown — but instead of folding, Paul stepped up. He invested heavily in himself and his business, training with some of the best detailers in the UK and USA. That dedication earned him full accreditation from the Professional Valeters & Detailers (PVD) Association, one of just 50 in the UK at the time.

Though Pro Detailing Services started with bikes — Paul’s lifelong passion — his skill with machine polishing and keen eye for detail quickly gained a reputation in the car world. Cars started taking over, but the bikes never truly stopped coming in… and neither did Paul’s passion for them.

In 2023, Paul sold the business. But the story didn’t end there.

Former customers of Pro Detailing Services, frustrated with the new ownership’s drop in quality, kept reaching out — asking Paul to come back and sort their bikes and cars properly. That loyalty, and the constant flow of requests, made one thing clear: people don’t just want a detailer — they want Paul.

So he went back to where it all began — motorbikes. No fancy unit. No huge overheads. No unnecessary extras. Just professional-grade detailing, offered at competitive prices because you’re not paying for a showroom — you’re paying for experience, precision, and genuine passion.

And that’s how Bike Guy was born — a more focused, more personal way to care for your bike.
